I live in London. We had a scary few days. Mobs of youths and teachers and dance instructors rioted.
They broke into footlocker. They broke into gambling houses. They broke into the poundstore in Peckham. Why do they hate good deals?
Things got bad. Bottles and two-by-fours were thrown at the police. Ryan Theriot is one of my favorite baseball players. He did not participate in the riots. Thank god.
The rioters were bad at throwing. They couldn't even play second base. Cricket is not as cool as baseball.
If people had rioted on my block, I would have filled myself with medium warm olive oil and balanced precariously on the windowsill.
